At ISRIC – World Soil Information, Thaïsa works on strengthening national soil information services and sustainable land management. She joined ISRIC as a project manager to support the development of information systems, including user needs assessments. Her projects include Land, Soil, Crop Information Services (LSC-IS), Soil Information System Technology (SIStech), and SoilWise.

Thaïsa holds a BSc in Applied Earth Science and an MSc in Applied Geophysics. Her professional career started as a geophysicist working on GIS and remote sensing and evolved into project management, facilitation of workshops and meetings, and user needs assessment in sustainable land management. She has worked in Latin America, Europe, and Africa with acknowledged institutions such as CABI, ICRAF, FAO, ILRI, KALRO, RAB, EIAR, ASARECA, ILVO, and Masaryk University.

Thaïsa speaks English, Dutch, German and Spanish.
