At ISRIC, Chrow manages the National Soil Information System (NSIS) programme with a focus on Africa.

Chrow holds a PhD from the University of Salford Manchester in the School of Environment and Life Science and an MS in Biology and Natural Science. Her research focused on environmental science, especially monitoring pesticides and potential toxic elements in environmental compartments.

Chrow has been actively involved in course coordination, project coordination and community development and management in the MENA region since 2020.

She speaks Kurdish, English, Arabic, and Turkish.
