CURIOSOIL: Call for Artists — Exploring the Art of Soil
The CURIOSOIL project invites Europe-based artists of all disciplines and levels to apply for a unique opportunity to create artwork inspired by soil.
CURIOSOIL's mission is to spark soil curiosity and foster a deeper connection between people and the ground beneath their feet. In alignment with the EU Mission: A Soil Deal for Europe, the project seeks to transform how soil is valued, perceived, taught, and discussed across Europe.
We welcome artists from all disciplines—visual arts, music, dance, video, installation, sculpture, and more—to submit concept proposals that creatively highlight the importance of soil. The goal is to ignite curiosity, inspire reflection, and reconnect people with this vital yet often overlooked element of life.

The Artathon will take place on 5 June 2025 in Wageningen, the Netherlands. Participation is limited to 25 professional and amateur artists.
