We are looking for a Junior GIS Technician
Does creating maps of soil and environmental data for users all over the globe sound like an exciting task? Do you want to work with modern Geo-ICT infrastructures using open source and free software? Are you willing to support scientists and research staff at ISRIC with their GIS handling tasks? Then this could be the ideal job for you!
Major tasks are:
- Run well established GIS and Digital Soil Mapping workflows;
- Prepare publication level figures and summary reports in a reproducible way;
- R and python scripting;
- Support improving workflows within ISRIC projects.
