of The Acid Test

Identikit is a Windows '95 program which uses a decision tree to describe a site.  Comprehensive on-line help is available to assist in the site description, and also to explain why the selected site characteristics are important for determining the probability of Acid Sulphate Soils being present, or potentially present.

Identikit is designed for use as a stand-alone tool, and will run on Windows laptop computers, allowing its use in the field.

The evaluation edition of Identikit occupies 19.6 MB of disc space, and is downloaded as a single self-extracting archive (of 17.6 MB) containing the installation file set.
Documentation is supplied in Adobe® Acrobat® format, and may be downloaded separately.

To keep track of our evaluators, we ask that you email us
for the password needed to unlock the downloaded archive file.

Click on one of the buttons below to begin downloading.

Installation

Download the IDENTIKIT archive to a temporary directory.  When you have received your
password, you can unpack the archive and the setup routine starts automatically.

The MANUAL is an Acrobat-format file which your browser may be able to handle internally.  If not, save it to your hard disc and use the Acrobat Reader to read and/or print the file.

The ACROBAT READER is another self-extracting archive containing the current version of the Reader.

Note:  Identikit has been successfully tested on a Windows 3.1 machine which was running Win32S version 1.30.  However, we do not guarantee that future versions of Identikit will run under Windows 3.1.
