PhD internships at ISRIC

The Climate Food and Farming Network (CLIFF) and the Global Research Alliance (GRA) invites PhD students from developing countries to apply for a CLIFF-GRADS scholarship for short-term scientific training and research stays on topics related to the measurement and management of greenhouse gas emissions and carbon storage in agricultural systems (PDF).

Within the program, there are three opportunities for internships of up to 6 months at ISRIC - World Soil Information:

  • Project 27:  Accounting for errors in SOC estimates introduced by proximal sensing methods 
  • Project 29:  Assessing the impact of land use change scenarios on soil organic carbon stock 
  • Project 30:  Developing the Global Soil Information System (GLOSIS)
