SOTER training

SOTER was co-developed by ISRIC and provides an orderly arrangement of natural resource information through the creation of a computerized database. SOTER databases contains available attributes on topography, soils, climate, vegetation and land use and are linked to a Geographic Information System. So far, SOTER courses have been given in Kenya, Ethiopia, Jordan, Syria, South Africa, Namibia, Zambia, Morocco, Yemen, Lebanon, China, Indonesia, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina and India.
