Impact of Desertification on Food Security in Southern Africa (ZILRIS)

This UNEP-funded project (2000-2004) modelled the impact of desertification on food security in Zambia, using available soil and terrain, climate and land use data (report, atlas). 

The project was executed in collaboration with the Zimbabwean Chemistry and Soil Research Institute.
