SOTER database of Hungary

The SOTER database for Hungary was compiled by the Research Institute for Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry (RISSAC) of the Academy of Sciences, Budapest, under a UNEP-funded project [1998-2002].  ISRIC provided training and technical backstopping.
    
Applications of the data include assessments of  sustainable agriculture and environmental protection and modelling of the carbon sequestration potential using the RothC.
