ISRIC - World Soil Information is an independent foundation with a global mandate, funded by the Netherlands Government, and with a strategic association with Wageningen University and Research Centre. Our staff are involved in a wide range of national and international projects and are active in various policy advisory bodies and professional  working groups.

Our aims:
  - To inform and educate - through the World Soil Museum, public information, discussion and publication
  - As ICSU World Data Centre for Soils, to serve the scientific community as custodian of global soil information
  - To undertake applied research on land and water resources
