Ir Piet Tempel - Systems analysis and programming

Piet joined ISRIC in 1992 and maintains ISRIC’s various data stores and supports applications of our archival data through through interfaces and database frontends for modelling, e.g., erosion, soil water balance, crop growth. He also has special expertise in GIS and data base management Currently, Piet is involved in the enlargement of the web site to facilitate wider public access.

Piet is fluent in Object, Pascal, C, Perl and other obscure dialects.
